Life begins outdoor

An epic more than a tragedy

I look up to those people who pursued their passion even though they know the risks could end up their lives.

These are not stupid people, these are the “real” people. They live and breathe life and celebrate life to the fullest.

I believe that it’s better to GO pursuing your passion, whether it be mental, spiritual or physical challenge; than to just be on the side of the road taking a comfortable bus ride.

There’s no substitute for the open air – wind blowing your hair or the rain kissing your face. The outdoor can be unforgiving at times, but better to go with it than to go in an enclosed white room with a synthetic plant accompanying you in the corner.

The untimely Demise of Adrian Alba, a young Filipino mountaineer should be looked into more than a tragedy, but an epic.

This little post is for a person that I never met – May God bless your soul.

“As I roam the earth as a free-spirited ski bum, I want to be known as a fun-loving, thrill seeker who loves nothing more in life than homemade chocolate chip cookies and a big glass of skim milk. I want to be looked at as a loyal grandson, son, brother, friend and teammate while maintaining the freedom to do things on the spur of the moment. I’m a Christian who believes all things happen for a reason and that good things happen to good people. After my days wandering this place we call earth are over, I want to be looked at and remembered as a caring man who would do just about anything for anyone. I want people to also remember me as random, intelligent, honest, trustworthy and last but not least, a risk taker who lives the outdoors and skis like there’s no tomorrow.” ~ Brandon John Zukoff
